OPEN PARTY OVERNIGHT AND MULTIDAY TRIPS

Newport Landing Sportfishing offers overnight to 2 day fishing trips throughout the year. Overnight to 2 day trips are geared to target primarily our largest game fish. Many other species are also caught while targeting these game fish. Yellowtail, Albacore Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado, White Sea Bass, and Bluefin Tuna are the primary larger game fish targeted. Additionally trophy sized Calico Bass, huge Sheepshead, Red Snapper, Bonito, Barracuda, Ling Cod, Whitefish, and many other species of fish are caught. Hundreds of fish per trip are very common on these outings. Overnight trips fish primarily the islands, but will also target offshore fishing grounds chasing game fish. The favorite destination for our overnight trips is San Clemente Island. This relatively remote island offers a huge array of fishing opportunities and with miles of coastline the options are almost endless. 1 ½ day trips and 2 day trips typically travel to the legendary Cortez and Tanner banks as well as other offshore seamounts. Trophy sized fish are very common on these trips. Overnight and longer trips require you spend the evening(s) on one our 3 boats: the Amigo, Aggressor, and Ultra. Full amenities including bunks with bedding, pillows, complete snack bar/kitchen, indoor seating, and many other comforts make the time spent not fishing, relaxing and restful.

 

RED CELL INDICATES 1-DAY TRIPS. THESE TRIPS DEPART AT 10 PM THE PREVIOUS NIGHT, FISHING THE DAY HIGHLIGHTED AND RETURNING THE HIGHLIGHTED DATE AROUND 7 PM.

GREEN CELLS INDICATE A 1.5 DAY TRIP. THESE TRIPS DEPART AT 9PM THE PREVIOUS NIGHT, FISHING THE DAY HIGHLIGHTED AND RETURNING THE FOLLOWING MORNING AROUND 5 AM.

BLUE CELLS INDICATES 2-DAY TRIPS. THESE TRIPS DEPART AT 10 PM THE PREVIOUS NIGHT, FISHING THE DAYS HIGHLIGHTED AND RETURNING THE SECOND HIGHLIGHTED DATE AROUND 7 PM.
